ABOUT US
Tanya James School of Dance has been part of the Knoxfield community since 1989.
We are not just a dance school but a dance family, which welcomes all with open arms.
To our current students, welcome back to a new year of dance, and to our new students,
a warm welcome to our school.
Tanya James School of Dance is genuinely committed to a child safe environment for the practice of dance education and performance. We offer safe dance techniques, catering for dance as an enjoyable hobby or leading on to dance teaching career. All in a nurturing, fun and friendly environment.
We offer a variety of dance classes for students from 2 years of age to Adult, which welcomes both recreational students and those wishing to undertake their teaching diploma - State Dance Association (SDA) syllabus.
Classes include: Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Classical Ballet, Contemporary and Acrobatics.

TERM DATES
2024 classes commence Tuesday 30 January.
Classes are held during school terms.
Classes are not held during school holidays nor on public holidays.
Term 1: Tuesday 30 January to 28 March (9 weeks)
Term 2: Tuesday 16 April to 27 June (10 weeks)
Term 3: Tuesday 15 July to 19 September (10 weeks)
Term 4: Tuesday 8 October to 28 November (9 weeks)

Friday 29 November and Saturday 30 November
at Mahon Theatre, Aquinas College Ringwood
