Tanya James School of Dance

Tanya James School of Dance has been part of the Knoxfield community since 1989. Over these 30 years, there have been hundreds of dancing feet participating in our concerts and other events, hundreds of lifelong friendships made and so many cherished memories!

We are not just a dance school but a dance family which welcomes all with open arms.

To our current students, welcome back to a new year of dance, and to our new students, a warm welcome to our school.

Tanya James School of Dance is genuinely committed to a child safe environment for the practice of dance education and performance. We offer safe dance techniques, catering for dance as an enjoyable hobby or leading on to dance teacher career.  All in a nurturing, fun and friendly environment.

We offer a variety of dance classes to students from 2 years of age to Adult, which welcomes both recreational students and those wishing to undertake their teaching diploma - State Dance Association (SDA) syllabus.

Classes include:  Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Classical Ballet, Contemporary and Acrobatics.
